From Tuesday to Thursday (we start every day at 6:00 p.m.!) we invite you to wine, artwork and conversation about photography – the ShowOFF Section openings. Nor have we forgotten the accompanying events: the opening of the ShowOFF.Fototeka, meetings with artists and curators during the Pecha Kucha, a concert by Letko and the KMAG after party.

...And we're closer and closer to the start of Photomonth. The first exhibitions have already arrived in Krakow. Tony Ray Jones's work is already waiting to be mounted at Starmach Gallery, Mark Power's work is up at the International Culture Centre, and at the Bunkier Sztuki (our partner) - Anna Fox.

This year’s Photomonth will be star-studded!
The May festival, whose 8th edition is devoted to British photography, will be drawing above all British artists of undeniable international repute. Among them will be Martin Parr, Mark Power, Anna Fox, Jason Evans, Jem Southam, John Davis, Tom Wood, Tom Hunter, Richard Billingham, Greg Hobson, Aaron Schuman and many others.

On May 15th from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Jewish Community Centre on ul. Miodowa 24 in Krakow, over a dozen professionals will be waiting to meet photography amateurs who see their futures in this profession. Among the former will be photographers, editors of photography publications, editors, buyers, critics, and representatives of agencies, photography magazines and galleries.

Preparations for the 8th edition of “Photomonth in Krakow" are entering their final phase. As in previous years, the organisers are putting out a call for volunteers. This is a great chance for anyone interested in photography and cultural events to gain some experience in organising one of the biggest and most important photography festivals in Poland, and the chance to make contact with some interesting people.

Photomonth and ZPAF & Co. Gallery have hit a soaring 64th place in the annual ranking of ‘Obieg’ and ‘Artbazaar’ magazines. Last year our projects made it to 89th position.
