We get closer to the end of 2013 Krakow Photomonth Festival. Recent weeks were tightly fitted with exhibitions, meetings, screenings, workshops, actions and presentations. The schedule for the upcoming weekend is intense as well. Get ready to party!
On Satruday the first of the festival's closings. At 9 p.m. Ĺszibarack concert – one of the most interesting bands on Polish scene, skilfully combining rock and electronica (Mezkal Music Club, 18 Meiselsa St., tickets: 25 pln).
We continue on Sunday starting at 5 p.m. in a picnic-concert mode for the final closing of 2013 Krakow Photomonth Festival.
For those who find it hard to part with the festival mood a moment before and very close by the picnic – at Studio Luma – from 4 p.m. screening of documentaries made due to the Culture Out Law (Kultura Ponad Prawem, http://www.kulturaponadprawem.pl/). Zygmunt Bauman, CzesĹaw Mozil, Tymon TymaĹski, Joanna Rajkowska and other creators tell on how the Internet and digital technology influence their lives and creativity. Due to the screening a discussion: how do the new models of earning money on culture work in the digital environment?
Starting at 5 p.m – Picnic on the Ramp. Take your friends, take you essential picnic kit and join us!
At 7 p.m. our brave Festival companion, Bombilla, invies: a concert by The Abstinents. Sax, base, drums and vocal. „Punk Not Drunk!” Each of the members of the band is one of a kinf abstinent: one doesn't drink, the other doesn't smoke, the third doesn't go to church and the fourth doesn't masturbate. Grateful for the benefits of abstinence they assure eachother the sonic aid resulting in the joyful bliss of musical union of the Abstinents. Free entrance.
