During the second weekend of 2013 Krakow Photomonth (and a second long weekend during this year's edition at that!) we have a lot of possibilities for you in the Calendar.
THURSDAY, 30 MAY
Come and visit MOCAK, Angel Wawel and New Roman Gallery – exhibitions showed there will be available to the public on Corpus Christi.
At 6 p.m. in MOCAK
Masters Series meeting with Tadeusz Rolke along with a screening of the film
Diary of a Journey on the artist directed by Piotr Stasik. The director will also take part in the meeting led by Lech MoliĹski.
FRIDAY, 31 MAY
At 6 p.m at Manggha Museum the last of this year's
Masters Series meetings will be held – you may get to know more about and talk to Oliver Chanarin, photographer and curator (along with Adam Broomberg) of the
Alias project presented during the 9th edition of Krakow Photomonth in 2011.
SATURDAY, 1 JUNE
We begin the day with the activities for the small main characters of the day: at 11 a.m. the PHOTO-graphic Children's Day will begin at Bal in ZabĹocie.
Open workshops for kids will be focused on the subject of pattern, background construction and the secrets of applying designs on your clothes so as not to stain them!
At noon Ms. Danuta PĹatek, hairstylist and oe of the heroines of the Limits of Fashion exhibition will create hair styles she is famous for on the spot. Come and see, you don't have to plan in advance.
At 6 p.m. the Experimental Section discussion panel: From Educated Farmer to Urban Intellectual: about Lifestyle in Poland. In the discussion, led by Karolina Sulej, editor in chief of Maj magazine Agata Michalak („Kukbuk”), Janusz Noniewicz („KMag”, Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw), Katarzyna ĹwieĹźak („Wysokie Obcasy”), Katarzyna Bojarska („Widok”, IBL PAN) and Magda SzczeĹniak (IKP UW) will talk on lifestyle.
